NOT YOUR TYPICAL TATTOO STUDIO

BEAUTIFUL ART. REAL CONNECTION. A LITTLE BITE.

Venom & Bloom was created from a simple belief: getting tattooed should feel as good as the art you leave with. Founder and Lead Artist Shana Irish wanted to build something different from the traditional tattoo shop, a space where incredible artistry could exist without the intimidation, where clients could feel comfortable asking questions, taking up space, and being part of the creative process.

Today, Venom & Bloom is a private, female-owned tattoo studio in Asheville, NC, built around thoughtful tattooing, individual expression, and an experience that feels personal from beginning to end. We specialize in custom tattoos, fine line work, microrealism, fine line black and gray realism, botanical and feminine tattooing, but our real specialty is creating art that feels unmistakably like the person wearing it.

a space created differently.

The details matter here. From the art on the walls to the privacy surrounding your appointment, Venom & Bloom was intentionally designed to feel more like a creative sanctuary that a traditional tattoo shop. We believe you should be able to get a sternum tattoo without an audience, ask a hundred questions without feeling ridiculous, or simply settle in and enjoy the experience.

Our artists bring their own perspective and specialties, but we share the same philosophy: listen first, create intentionally, respect the skin, and never make someone feel like they need to fit a certain mold to belong here. Whether it’s your first tattoo or your fiftieth, you deserve an artist who cares about the details and a studio where you can actually exhale.

Ididn’t create venom & bloom to fit into tattoo culture. I created the kind of tattoo studio I wished existed.
